Le 1313 Chomedey is a residential community located on Boulevard Chomedey in Laval, Quebec. The residence is designed mainly for seniors aged 65 and older who are able to live independently but would like to have a comfortable and secure place to live. The organization behind Le 1313 Chomedey was established in 2004, while the residence began welcoming residents in 2007. Since then, it has provided seniors with housing and a community environment where they can enjoy their daily lives with greater comfort and peace of mind. The building offers different types of apartments, including one-bedroom and larger units. Residents have access to practical facilities and services that can make everyday life easier. These include elevators, laundry facilities, parking, security features, recreational areas, and opportunities to participate in social activities. Meals and certain personal services are also available. One of the main advantages of Le 1313 Chomedey is its location. The residence is situated in an area of Laval where residents can find shops, restaurants, banks, medical facilities, and other useful services nearby. This makes it easier for seniors to remain active and connected to the surrounding community. Le 1313 Chomedey is intended for autonomous seniors, meaning it is not a nursing home or a facility providing full-time medical care. Instead, its goal is to offer suitable housing and a supportive environment for older adults who can manage their everyday activities independently. Overall, Le 1313 Chomedey provides more than just a place to live. It offers seniors an opportunity to live in a safe, social, and comfortable environment while maintaining their independence.
