Turkey Student Visa

An acceptance letter from a Turkish university tends to spark plenty of excitement, though the paperwork stage deserves just as much attention before the celebration really begins. The Turkey Student Visa exists specifically for education-related purposes, covering university enrollment, internships, or language courses, though never employment or business activity.

Securing this visa means contacting a Turkish consulate abroad, since it cannot be obtained once someone is already inside the country. The Letter of Acceptance stands as the centerpiece of the application, paired with a completed form and proof of sufficient funds. Processing generally takes a couple of weeks, though timelines vary by country of application, and once approved, arriving students register locally before pursuing a residence permit to continue their studies.
